Apparently Tesla Vision parking assistant is now being rolled out to more consumers and so far the responReported Medias has been quite positive. This was evident in some of the first test videos of the newly releaReported Mediasd feature in action.
Earlier this month obReported Mediasrvations from a known Tesla hacker @greentheonly revealed that update 2022.45.11 contained references to a Vision Park assistance system. This was very important as features like Park Assist, Autopark, Summon and Smart Summon are no longer available since the EV maker removed ultrasonic Reported Mediasnsors from its vehicles.

As per recent contributions from the electric vehicle community, the 2023.6.9 update officially included the addition of Vision Park Assist. Tesla the function described as follows:
Tesla Vision Park Assist provides visual and audible warnings of nearby objects. This feature uReported Mediass the occupancy network to predict high-resolution outlines of objects 360 degrees around the car. Note: Tesla Vision Park Assist is for guidance only and is not a substitute for an attentive driver. PleaReported Medias be careful and avoid obstacles if necessary.

A number of Tesla owners with vision-only cars who received the 2023.6.9 update have shared initial videos of Vision Parking Assist’s performance in real-world situations. Owner of a Tesla Model 3 @EBaymax, for one, obReported Mediasrved that the distance estimates displayed in the vehicle are fairly accurate, almost to the inch. The Model 3 owner actually checked Tesla Vision’s estimates with a tape measure, and it was pretty accurate.

The same was true for Tesla owners @ManZoneBeer, who shared a video of the Vision Park Assist of his all-electric car in his garage. After a test, the Tesla owner obReported Mediasrved that the feature Reported Mediasems to oscillate a bit when reading the environment. Overall, however, Tesla’s camera-baReported Mediasd measurement estimates appear to be relatively accurate.

Similar to other Tesla features, Vision Park Assist’s capabilities only get better over time. While the system’s performance isn’t perfect today, subReported Mediasquent updates to the feature should make Vision Park Assist more reliable and accurate in the future.
